Mateo Gloistein One-Page

Throughout the musical journey of my life I have searched for what is universal in music. Because of this process, I have come to pride myself on being a versatile player. Whether getting the chance to back Philadelphia Soul artists McFadden & Whitehead, accompanying the Chester Children’s Chorus, performing Afro-Cuban jazz with my own group at the World Cafe Live, playing jazz and soul live in the studio on WRTI, or performing contemporary gospel in church on Sunday, I have found it is the rhythm, the heartbeat of music, that brings people together.
